OceanBlue confirms major sponsorship of annual Hervey Bay Autumn Fair - 14/04/2008
The joint developers behind the prestigious OceanBlue residential estate in Hervey Bay have confirmed the major sponsorship this week of the annual Autumn Fair, which is set to benefit dozens of local underprivileged children.
Two of Australia’s leading property development companies, Seymour Group and Watpac Property, have made a key donation to the annual Hervey Bay Uniting Church Autumn Fair.
The donation is representative of Seymour Group and Watpac Property’s ongoing commitment to the Hervey Bay community, according to a spokesperson for OceanBlue.
Up to 4,000 people are expected to attend the Autumn Fair this Saturday 19 April at the Hervey Bay Uniting Church in Torquay.
The Fair aims to raise at least $5,000 for local Chaplains to distribute to underprivileged children throughout Hervey Bay for activities such as school excursions, uniforms and books.
A Seymour Group representative, Michael Hoey, will be in Hervey Bay tomorrow to handover the sponsorship funds to the Uniting Church. At the same time, Mr Hoey will inspect progress of the first OceanBlue display home, which commenced construction last week.
OceanBlue, a 174 lot residential project one street back from the beach and boarding Point Vernon, is one of the very last opportunities to purchase near ocean side land in the heart of Hervey Bay.
